update Idebate Rwanda is organizing this fundraiser.
According to World Education News Reviews, there were 522 public schools in Rwanda as of 2019. Besides that big number of schools, the students in the public schools also deserve a platform to help enhance their public speaking skills and critical thinking.
Why is it Important to Include Public Schools?
They don’t have any program set for them. Public schools in Rwanda have little to no debate programs specifically for them to be uplifted with the right communication skills. It will serve as an opportunity for language acquisition. There is still a significant gap in the communication skills of students and it is even worse for public schools. Debate is an opportunity for them to acquire English Speaking skills.
